Template Sync
Briskine keeps your templates and account data in sync across all your devices and browsers. When you make any changes in the Briskine Dashboard, these are are synchronized automatically.
How syncing works
Briskine is designed to stay up-to-date in the background without interrupting your workflow. Depending on where you make changes, the sync timing may vary:
Same Device & Browser: If you update a template in the dashboard and then immediately use the extension on that same browser, changes sync in real-time. You can insert the updated template instantly.
Different Devices or Browsers: If you create a template on your office computer and try to use it on your laptop (or a different browser), there may be a slight delay while the extension checks for updates in the background.
Team Updates: When a teammate updates a shared template, the changes will sync to your extension automatically. If you don't have the dashboard open at the time, you might experience the same brief background delay.
Manual sync
If you need your changes to appear immediately and don't want to wait for the extension to sync in the background, you can force a manual sync.
To trigger an immediate sync:
- Press the Briskine icon in your browser toolbar to open the popup.
- Press the Sync button (green circular arrows icon).
This will instantly pull all recent template changes and account settings from our servers to your extension.
If you've just joined a team or been granted access to new shared templates, a manual sync is the quickest way to refresh your list.
